- 2 tablespoons Blue Band Margarine
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped salted tilapia (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 3 cups water
- 1tsp salt
- Melt the margarine.
- Add the sliced onion and fry until it starts to colour.
- Add the salted tilapia, and fry until the onion has browned.
- Add the rice.
- Stir to coat.
- Add the water and stir to incorporate.
- Place the lid on.
- Cook on a gentle heat until the rice is tender (about 15-20mins).
- Serve with eggs and sardines.
