Banana Bread
A delicious, nutritious snack for the whole family

Serves: 10
Ingredients
120g Blue Band Margarine
150g Sugar
2 eggs, beaten
250ml banana pulp (4 ripe bananas mashed)
15ml lemon juice
240g cake flour (500ml)
2ml salt
5ml Bicarbonate of soda
30ml milk
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
Cream the margarine and sugar and beat in the eggs one at a time
Add the banana pulp and lemon juice
Sift the dry ingredients together and stir into the creamed mixture alternating with the milk
Turn the batter into a lined and greased loaf tin and bake in a moderate oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 1 hour, or until cooked through
Serve warm with margarine
