Many of us eat breakfast every morning, but are we eating a Good Breakfast?
Eating a Good Breakfast is simple:
Bread with Blue Band + Tea with Milk + Fruit
Bread with Blue Band gives your child the carbohydrates, vitamins and Omegas 3 & 6 needed for energy to learn play and grow. Tea is good for hydration and adding milk gives your child a good source of calcium which helps with bone development. Lastly adding a fruit to your child’s breakfast gives extra minerals, vitamins and fibre which are necessary for optimal growth and development.
Or if you prefer;
Uji with Blue Band + Tea with milk + Fruit
Uji, as a carbohydrate, contributes to the energy your child needs to learn, play and grow. Adding Blue Band to Uji gives your child an additional 6 vitamins and Omegas 3 & 6 needed for your child’s growth and development. Tea with milk is good for hydration and helps give your child nutrients. Milk is also a good source of calcium which helps with bone development. Adding a variety of fruits in season can be one of the best habits you can impart on your child as fruits are a great source of mineral, vitamins and fibre necessary for optimal growth and development.
The problem is that many Kenyan moms only give their children tea for breakfast, which does not contain the right nutrients children need to excel at school.
Let’s give our kids a good start to every day with a Good Breakfast, because with a Good Breakfast anything is possible. Children need the right nutrients to grow up to be strong and have the chance to achieve want they want in life.
To help with their growth and development, add the nutrition of Blue Band to their diet – a happy and healthy child is one that gets the right vitamins, minerals and good fats every day.
A Good Breakfast needs carbohydrates (bread or porridge), good fats like Omega 3 and 6 (Blue Band), proteins (milk, egg or cheese), vitamins and minerals (found in fruit and Blue Band).
Let’s give our children a good start to greatness, let’s give them a Good Breakfast every day.
